Ryan Small is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Inverdale Capital Management. He has over fifteen years of investment experience in the public and private markets. Before founding Inverdale, Mr. Small was a research analyst at Pinebridge Investments, a multi-strategy institutional investor with a focus on alternative strategies. Mr. Small began his equity investment career with Precept Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund focused on small and mid cap publicly listed equities. Additionally, Mr. Small's previous work experience includes working for a private real estate development company as well as J.P. Morgan Chase, in the Asset Backed Lending group.
Mr. Small received his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, with an Economics Major from Washington & Lee University, and holds his Masters in Business Administration from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
Stewart Geyer, Partner at Inverdale Capital Management, is also a Co-founder and Managing Director of Hudson Laboratories, a technology and data analytics company. Stewart has an extensive background in non-linear adaptive control theory, data analytics, and advanced modeling of complex systems. He also has private market investment and operational experience in the power generation, real estate, consumer products, and oil & gas industries. Mr. Geyer’s previous roles include serving as the Chief Operating Officer for VGV Energy, a privately-held power generation company based in New York City, where he led the engineering, modeling, and financing of natural gas power plants in the Northeast. Additionally, Mr. Geyer’s previous work experience includes 4 years as a project manager with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked in the Modeling & Simulation Group.
Mr. Geyer holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
William Hardy, CFA
William Hardy, Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Inverdale Capital Management, has over 10 years of public securities and investment experience. Before Inverdale, Mr. Hardy worked at Luminant, a subsidiary of Energy Future Holdings. At Luminant, roles included senior analyst positions in the natural gas fundamentals and trading group as well as in the financial planning and analysis group. Prior to Luminant, Mr. Hardy worked in the debt capital markets group at Wachovia, focused on investment grade debt offerings. He was involved in over $100 billion of origination deals for clients in the Energy, Industrials, Technology, Healthcare and Consumer/Retail industries.
Mr. Hardy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wake Forest University with two degrees, a BA in Economics and a BA in German. He earned his CFA designation in 2014.
